Quality Mandarin Chinese Immersion Summer Camp is here in Orange County!
Good Fortune Language School’s goal is to teach Mandarin Chinese in a fun and positive learning environment. We make learning Chinese enjoyable and easy.
Our curriculum is designed to go beyond just learning Chinese language and culture.
It also helps to build student’s confidence and encourage curiosity.
Ø Children will learn some basic Mandarin Chinese concepts, simple sentence patterns and conversations through songs, storytelling, games, role play, movies, and other fun activities.
Ø Our Chinese Summer Immersion sessions (ages 4 & up) are offered, two weeks each. Classes are Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Ø Our Special Designed Summer Programs might include: Mini Olympics, Chinese culture & family & food, Our Beautiful Nature, Chinese Heroes & Legends, Fun Characters Writing, Chinese Idol: Karaoke competition etc. COME AND DISCOVER MORE!!!
Why Mandarin Chinese?
Chinese is the most popular foreign language in most language schools around the world, as more and more cultural and business transactions take place between China and the rest of the world.

Director/Head Instructor:
Mrs. Tanya Hagerty, also know as Tanya Lao Shi (Lao Shi is teacher in Chinese). Tanya Lao Shi was born and studied in China. She attended and graduated from Abilene Christian University. She is bilingual and fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. She loves to travel and learn different languages and cultures. She has traveled and lived in China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico and USA.
Tanya Lao Shi enjoys teaching; she has tutored and taught since high school. Tanya Lao Shi uses her proven natural methods to introduce basic Chinese through role play, laughter, music, art, movements and repetition. Children will have fun learning Chinese through various activities and experiences. Children will begin speaking and singing Chinese naturally. Tanya Lao Shi specializes in providing quality Mandarin Chinese workshops to children and adults whose first languages are not Chinese. She teaches in several continuing education programs for adults and children, in the after-school program at The Pegasus School, and in various locations throughout Orange County.
